Party in a Rickshaw

Chennai is beautiful, there are so many things to see!
We decided to try to take advantage of the opportunity to tour the city with our driver who doubled as a tourguide:)

1st stop:
Marina Beach
(2nd longest beach in the world)
There were lots and lots of people selling fish, our tour guide explained that some of the very poor people in the area live on the beach in makeshift houses and sell the fish they catch. He also explained how many of their unsturdy makeshift houses were destroye by the tsunami and they are still working on rebuilding.
goats were everywhere!

2nd Stop:
San Thom Church
(Saint Thomas Catholic Church)

3rd Stop:
Hindu Temple

4th stop:
shoppinggg:)

exhausted but happy

This is the beautiful view I can see out the window from where I'm sitting:

How can you not fall in love with a place like this?

withgreatlove,
Kenzie

p.s. to explain the blog title, while we were walking around the Indian temple a rickshaw flew by blasting loud music, Emily coined the phrase and we all thought it was hilarious, which could have also been a result of the jetlag....;)
